    Daina I. Delgado, a North Carolina Certified Paralegal and Notary Public, is employed as a Paralegal/Trial Assistant, and has worked for the firm since 1991. Ms. Delgado is the current Education Co-Chair of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers (NCATL), Legal Assistants Division, and previously served as Publications Chair 2007-08, President of the Division from 2001-2003, Vice Chair, from 1999-2001, and Legislative Chair from 1995-1999. She is also an affiliate member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ). Ms. Delgado received the prestigious 2009 Ebbie Award, a citation of excellence, from the NCAJ.  She is bilingual in English and Spanish, which is obviously important for our Spanish-speaking clients, because there is no substitute for conversations directly between an attorney and a client.

    Crystal L. Reading is employed as a Paralegal, and has worked for the firm since December 2007. She moved to North Carolina from Virginia, where she worked as a litigation paralegal with a general practice firm for 3 years. Mrs. Reading attended the University of North Florida where she earned a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. She is also a North Carolina Notary Public. Mrs. Reading is a currently a member of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers (NCATL), Legal Assistants Division, and the National Association of Legal Assistants.

    Dan Byrd is employed as the business manager for the firm.
