A 47-year-old female mill worker suffered stiff neck, severe headaches, and shoulder strain after her auto was struck in the rear by defendant. Plaintiff also sustained post traumatic cervical strain and a sprain injury with severe cervical torticollis and paravertebral myocitis. Plaintiff contended that defendant failed to carefully observe traffic and operated his vehicle in a reckless and unsafe manner. Defendant denied all allegations made by plaintiff.
